
The Background
Little Gem Resorts is a boutique collection of independent hotels owned and operated by a family with 50+ years of experience in the hospitality business. With the introduction of their third property in 2020, Lovango Resort & Beach Club, a need arose for a cohesive web presence to unite the three hotels into one branded family. The unique nature of their island settings and the breadth of each resort’s programming demanded that the websites efficiently organize property-specific information resources while simultaneously delivering on marketing objectives and messages.
The Objective
Create a web presence that unifies Little Gem Resort’s three hotels into one seamless experience. Declutter the existing information on each website to improve user experience for existing and prospective guests.
The Approach
We condensed information on each website whenever possible, streamlining it and improving inter-page navigation to make that information intuitive and functional. A new visual identity was drafted and sculpted to fit the unique needs of each property. Navigation was also improved between the three resorts in order to elevate awareness for the larger collection of hotels.
The Results
The websites were well received by management and guest alike. The sites were easier to use, more attractive to browse, and presented the information in an intuitive manner. A testament to this success was a lower volume of phone calls from confused web visitors!
